Introducing the 1/144 ATR-72-600 turboprop passenger aircraft, a completely new mold from X-Scale Models, a Ukrainian passenger aircraft kit manufacturer.
The ATR-72, which made its maiden flight in 1988, is manufactured by the French-Italian joint venture aircraft manufacturer ATR. Its fuel capacity was increased by approximately 10 percent compared to the ATR-42, and its fuselage was extended by 4.5 meters, its wingspan was also increased, and it was fitted with a more powerful engine, resulting in increased payload capacity.
The -600 series, announced in 2007 and introduced in 2010, features a PW127M engine and a glass cockpit with LCD screens.
This aircraft is operated worldwide, including by Japanese airlines, as a passenger aircraft, transport aircraft, military anti-submarine patrol aircraft, and government aircraft, among other uses.
This injection-molded plastic kit includes cockpit details, painting mask stickers, and one decal sheet.
The kit also includes both a standard propeller part and a feathering propeller part (for when the propeller is positioned upright in the direction of travel to prevent it from spinning due to wind while parked).
When completed, it will be approximately 190mm in length and 190mm in width.
