Product Description

This kit is modeled after the Shizuyama Station building on the Toyama Chihō Railway Main Line.
This station is one of the stations located within Kurobe City.
Although its continued existence was once in doubt due to the construction of a new Shinkansen connecting station just 300 meters away, this station survived because it was also a passing station. Currently, trains originating from this station are scheduled (though only on holidays), making it an important hub despite the small number of users.
Although the station building itself is very small, it has a unique design with many eaves and small roofs, and the complex configuration on the platform side is arguably the building's greatest feature.
This model is based on the prototype from 2010, when it was repainted in turquoise blue during the Heisei era.

*The roof section is removable even after completion, making it easy to add interior details or place figures inside.
Furthermore, since the paper used for the model is pre-colored, it's perfect for collecting even in its unpainted, assembled state.
With further painting and weathering, it can be used for more elaborate layouts and dioramas.
