This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Peugeot 360 MAXI EVO2 that competed in the 1998 Monte Carlo Rally.

[About the actual vehicle]
The F2 kit car regulations established in 1994 only allowed naturally aspirated engines up to 2 liters and 2WD vehicles, but the scope for modifications to various parts was wider than that of Group A machines at the time, and several manufacturers expressed interest in participating.
One example is the Peugeot 306 Maxi.
It was a rally car developed by Peugeot of France in 1995, featuring a front-wheel-drive (FF) configuration with a 2-liter inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine mounted in the front.
In 1997, they further developed an evolution model with an enhanced engine and other improvements.
Combined with its lightweight body, its sharp handling allowed it to demonstrate speeds that threatened turbo-charged 4WD machines in tarmac rallies.
Gilles Panizzi achieved a magnificent victory at Rally El Corte Inglés, held on March 13th and 14th as part of the 1998 European Rally Championship and Spanish National Championship.

[About the model]
This model is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Peugeot 306 MAXI Evolution model, the EVO2.
This model is based on the Peugeot 306 MAXI EVO2 that won the Rally El Corte Inglés held in Spain in March 1998.
The body faithfully reproduces the unique form of the EVO2, including the front fenders.
・The low-slung, wide body style is a detail that shouldn't be overlooked.
Furthermore, the interior, including the roll cage, is modeled after the rally equipment of the EVO2.
The underside of the chassis is also reproduced with a great sense of depth.
・The details themselves convey the essence of its driving performance.
