Product Description
This is the first prototype (#36598) of the XP-72, a prototype fighter aircraft developed as a successor to the P-47 at the end of World War II.
This model precisely recreates the vehicle's appearance, featuring the then-most powerful 3,500-horsepower Wasp Major 28-cylinder air-cooled radial engine and a massive Curtiss-type four-bladed propeller.
This kit features a completely new mold that realistically reproduces the cockpit interior, and includes engine parts visible through the gap between the spinner and cowling, as well as two types of canopies (open/closed).
Furthermore, it includes a paint mask sticker and one type of decal to recreate the aircraft.
When completed, it will be an impressive size, measuring approximately 260mm in length and 232mm in width.
