We are pleased to announce the re-release of the 1/48 DH.94 Mossminer from Planet Model, Special Hobby's resin kit brand.
The Mosminer is a two-seat monoplane sports/trainer aircraft designed and manufactured by the prestigious British aircraft manufacturer, de Havilland.
The Mothminer, which made its first flight in 1937 as the successor to the biplane DH.60 Moth, had approximately 100 units produced by the outbreak of World War II, and more than 40 more were built after production shifted to de Havilland Australia.
Highly regarded for its maneuverability and ease of handling, the Mossminer was requisitioned by the British and Australian armies during the war. After the war, most of these aircraft became civilian aircraft as surplus military equipment, and several remain in active service today.
The kit we are offering includes resin parts, 3D printed parts, photo-etched parts, and decals for five different aircraft (US military, British military, Australian military, New Zealand military, and post-war civilian aircraft x 1 each).
When completed, it will be 155mm long and approximately 233mm wide.
