We are pleased to announce a new product from Halberd Models, a Ukrainian manufacturer of resin aircraft kits and modification parts: a 1/48 scale F-86H 'Sabre Hog' full resin kit.
This kit includes 41 resin parts, 44 3D printed parts, 27 photo-etched parts, 3D decal seat belts, and two types of New York Air National Guard decals.

After its first flight in [year], 473 units were manufactured until August 1955.
The aircraft, nicknamed the "Sabre Hog" (meaning "boar-like Sabre") due to its wider fuselage resulting from an upgraded J73-GE-3 engine (thrust 41.14kN) and increased fuel tank capacity, was equipped with four M39 20mm cannons as fixed armament.
The main wings were initially fitted with wingtips extended by 12 inches (6-3 wings), but the last 10 H-10s were fitted with wings equivalent to those of the F-40, and eventually all aircraft had wings equivalent to those of the F-40.
The U.S. Air Force operated it for a short period from 1954 to 1958, but after that, it was deployed to the U.S. Air National Guard and used until the 1970s. Several of these aircraft were later converted into unmanned target drones by the U.S. Navy.
