[Product Introduction]
The colorful Ge4/4-II electric locomotives, which are active on the Rhaetian Railway, were introduced in the 1970s but remain a major force on the railway today. They are used for a wide range of services, from the Glacier Express to freight trains, and from tram tracks to mountain routes.
- While the Rhaetian Railway is generally associated with red trains, until the 1980s, many of its passenger cars and locomotives were painted green.
- The organization [GRUN & CHROM], which preserves locomotives and passenger cars from that era, is working to restore the appearance of active vehicles to their original state. As the first step in this project, the top-numbered Ge4/4-II locomotive, No. 611, has been repainted in the original green livery, and the side logos and nicknames have been made into chrome-plated three-dimensional objects. It began operation in the spring of 2023, the 50th anniversary of the actual locomotive's debut.
- Can be enjoyed in combination with various items in the popular Rhaetian Railway series, which are currently on sale.

[Product features]
- The current form, with its added square headlights and jumper plugs on the front, is the prototype. Unlike when it first appeared, the model accurately reproduces the previously unseen combination of the later modified square headlights/taillights and the old paint scheme.
- Beautifully reproduces the green paint job and markings from its initial appearance.
- Reproduces details such as the louvers on the roof's air intake, resistors, and large snowplows.
- The jumper plug on the front of the vehicle body is set as a user-installed part.
- All three headlights are illuminated (warm white).
- The adoption of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet operation.
- The locomotive is capable of pulling 12 Rhaetian Railway passenger cars on a 4% gradient.
- Standard equipment includes short couplers for the Glacier Express. Replacement Arnold couplers are included.
