Product Description
- Create a realistic 8-wheeled armored vehicle using metal parts!!
About the actual car
During World War II, the German army, prioritizing mobility, developed numerous wheeled armored vehicles. One of these was the Sd.Kfz.234/4 Pakwagen. Designed for off-road capability, its chassis featured an elaborate mechanism of eight-wheel drive, eight-wheel independent suspension, and eight-wheel steering. It was powered by a V12 air-cooled diesel engine and achieved a top speed of 80 km/h. Several variations were developed to capitalize on the mobility of the eight-wheeled armored vehicle, and the Sd.Kfz.234/4 Pakwagen was one of them. The chassis was equipped with the 7.5cm Pak 40, a 46-caliber anti-tank gun known as a masterpiece of German warfare. It is said that 89 units were produced after the discontinuation of the Sd.Kfz.234/3, which was equipped with a short-barreled 7.5cm howitzer.
