Hobby Show Special vol.3 – Plastic Model Kit Fest!!
Hey hey Everyone, cheerful Tomeko here!
Following yesterday's blog, more Hobby Show report today!

★From Aoshima
Scouting Spacecraft Hayabusa

The kit of small planet searcher spacecraft Hayabusa, planned for return to earth next month.
As space development require great amounts of money, so it often gets reduced during recession... but the search for frontier is filled with so much dream, I have to say.

So in any case, I hope it returns safely without any malfunctions or troubles.

Lamborghini Countach LP400

Countach! Countach!
The highly anticipated kit from Aoshima, that everyone has been waiting for!

The door can be opened. Apparently they prioritized proportion over mobility, but for those modelers that are skilled enough, may be they could modify it and make it motorized or something!
(...I guess I shouldn't say irresponsible things like that too much...)

Oh btw. the etching parts to go with this looks like this.

Oh and by the way, at the booth of Aoshima, they actually had... a REAL Countach there for display!! For those planning to visit the Hobby Show in the weekend, this is a must see!
The fact that its not just announcement for the latest products, but also have these kind of interesting display is the feature of the Hobby Show, in my opinion.

Now then.
From Aoshima, there was a fabulous rumor about the kit of the Paradice of Ruins Maniacs, [Warship Island]!!
Now this, I really must have!

Huh, a photo......?

errr you wouldn't start describing something without even having an image ready... right?

...

.........

To tell you the truth, due to the issues of time we were able to stay there, I wasn't quite able to finish taking all the pics... I will try to convince our boss Mr.S for a longer visit next time, so please let this one slip this time >.< (gets on floor n begs)

Anyway, once we get the product info (inc. the images), we will stick it up on our site, so lets wait with anticipation!

★From Fujimi
Honda Monkey 2009

Tamiya and Aoshima has an impression for making more motorbike type model kits than others, but Fujimi can't be ignored.

This is the sample of image of the new kit for Honda Monkey.
I personally like those bulky litter bikes, but I do also like the cute little ones that tickles the heart too.

And this is totally irrelevant...
But, I really wish someone would make a kit of Honda Zoomer!! >.<

Ferrari 458

The comany that everyone loves (?), new model from Ferarri. The actual car can apparently do 352km/h, but I really cant imagine how fast that really is. Which is faster, this or a roller coaster?

Btw. the car at Tomeko's place only has up to 180km/h on the meter.

★From FineMolds
Deckel FP1 Milling machine

I believe this is the same kind of kit as the Vertical Machining Centers V33i by the same manufacturer. Probably.
However, compared to the machining center that's the state of art equipment, the Deckel is a machine that's rather retro. I think these bunch of handles are really nicely detailed.

Apparently this kit is mobile, so it would be fun to play with even after you finish assembling. And this Deckel here, there were a number of foreigners gathered around its booth deep in a heated conversation.
Gosh, I didn't realize the Hobby Show had become so International.

IJA Type94 6 -Wheel Cargo Carrier

Right then, there are two types, the Hardtop type

And the Canvastop

Although its for military use, its not a vehicle of combat, but was used purely for transportation. But gosh, the old Japanese Army vehicles have an unrefined look to it, but at the same time, it gives a sense of nostalgia too. Awesomely ugly? I dunno.

★From Dragon
We haven't got their product info. to begin reservation, but here are the new series that were announced there!

Apollo 13 Mission 40th Anniversary Commemoration Saturn V-type Rocket

Apollo-Soyuz Test Project

Space shuttle 'Enterprize' w/747

Space shuttle 'Atlantis' with Booster (STS-132 Atlantis Last Mission)

Apollo 7 Saturn Type IB rocket (Skylove2, AS-206)

Saturn Type V rocket (Skylove)

The military plastic model kit manufacturer with their selling point being the precise parts structure, Dragon has reached out for space development!
May be they will start a space war with Aoshima and Tamiya or something.

So anyway, that's it for today!
The Hobby Show Special Reports will still continue, so keep an eye out!

Thanks for reading our blog, everyone!
