Interesting perception all the same, especially the puffy right side of the jaw @anotherYX haha, cracked me up you found that so quickly :) I think it was probably intentional to keep away from 'perfect' symmetry and I can dig. I think it's realistic.

That price is gnarly, but I don't think you can go wrong with quality / Alter if you can afford it - 9/10. Over and out

At over 9" tall, and with so much gorgeous detail, it's worth the
price. One only has to go look at much older figures on here,
with the price they sold at, to see the difference. I will gladly
pay for these prices if the figures are WELL MADE.

Other places sell this figure for more ($20 to $40). You can cry
all you want, but cost of material & labor has gone up, and
figures are in HIGH DEMAND.

I was wondering the same ... this is definitely a figma with articulated
joints, but for some reason, they did not call it that. So I looked at GSC
site and they said that this is originally developed, and uses ALLOY
material, which makes it different from figma.

I hate to be pandentic but no violin player would carry their violin like that. First, a violin is not cheap, and if you drop it, it's going to hurt (your wallet). Second, her sleeves is pushing near the bridge section of the strings. You don't really want to touch that area as that part of the strings is full of rosin dust. The dust is gonna get on your wool coat and make a mess.

Very minimal, striking pose with great colour juxtaposition. Instantaneous charm.
Cool historical significance and story behind Souji Okita (One of the best swordsman in Japan during the Meiji era)

The only con I can think of is in comparison with an Alter piece is that it does lack a bit of dramatic charm. The drama, usually in the clothing or pose do help later appreciation.

Considering the series this character hails from the fact that it's not a cast-off is a very odd choice and a seriously missed opportunity. Her skin should be more tanned too. She's still a really nice figure, absolutely gorgeous, but some of the decisions made make no sense. If you're on the fence I'd suggest waiting because I expect we'll see a re-release with darker skin and cast-off some day soon.

Err...this one (and Hanayo for once lol) are both really tempting...if this was announced, like a year ago I would have definitely gotten this over the picnic/casual clothes ver one that i just got in the mail a few weeks ago that Good Smile Company did (though I am really loving the figure lol).

Meh. After buying Kotori's/pre-ordered Nico's, and how they really blew it out of the park with them, they picked the worst costumes for Maki&Hanayo.
Seriously, if they're going to to price it around 15,000, at least give it the detail and care they did with Kotori/Nico, and not like their Halloween Eli.

Oh well, it's not like I care much for Maki/Hanayo as much compared to some of the others, so I'll pass. Hoping they do something amazing for Honoka at least!

Poor quality and design flaws, the transp. cloth that's running around the character is basically braking off the horn on the left of the head. The base is pretty poorly designed too, the metal pin is too long and the hole on the right foot is not wide/deep enough to fit the pin in, you have to cut 1-1.5 cm off to be able to fix the char. on the base. Painting is well done, shape and show realistic design wise it is fine but this is way to expensive for a figure with manufacturing/design defects

As much as I loved Esdeath, I won't be buying this figure. She doesn't have the uniform that makes her so recognizable, and instead of a dynamic and exciting pose, she's sitting on a chair in a very boring manner. It's been over a year since the anime concluded, and it is very disappointing that I waited this long for a figure from the series, but it ended up being this very mediocre figure.

I'm conflicted. I want to reserve this to show support for figure production of less mainstream vocaloids, yet the higher price on this one is more in line with a 1/7 scale.

The prior Yuzuki Yukari figure done by Pulchra was about 4400 yen lower in cost, but looks to me to be more detailed overall, and is the same scale.

My only con about this figure is the unnecessary removable arms. No idea why they put removable arms. The apron can just be untied and removed without taking the arms off. Because of this, the right arm is attached to the right breast. Making an indent and a hole in the breast for the arm to attach to. Front half of her hair is also removable to put the glasses on. For such a high price, I would have hoped it as made a bit better.

Where to begin ... there's just something off-putting with her face.
The coloration is a tad off, but that's artistic interpretation (or cheap
manufacturing - the figure is priced cheaply) But the face and lack of
charm just makes this a no-go for me. Alter's Chitoge was the best
representation of that character, and I feel that Alter would do this
more justice than any of GSC's partner could.

To be fair, Cerberus hardly had any armor to begin with, so maybe
not a very apt comparison. I have not seen a Dark General figure, was
that an Aniplex exclusive? As far as I'm concerned, while Olivia does
edge out in both detail and grandeur, this figure is still a solid piece
on its own. Although if you could spring $100 more, you could get
the Fate T. Harlaown by Freeing instead.
