Good use of gloss and flat paints. Embrace Japan has had some duds but their Black Arts series is excellent. It's always nice to see manufacturers provide high-res close up pics albeit the photoshopping. I'm not used to far-separated eyes like Tibalta but it's unusually cute and the rest is smexy.

But I can honestly say she looks gorgeous IRL. The face is accurate and detailed as well,
it just don't look right on the web because of the bad angles on pictures.

The quality of the figure isn't cheap too, in fact she's kinda heavy despite her size.

discussion about people who complain about the price and/or
how the figures look. There are garage kits that are either more
faithful or can be articulated (somewhat) into a more aesthetically
pleasing pose. But you still need to paint the figure and if you mess
up, well, there goes that money. Also, if you find cheap stuff, more
than likely it's a Taiwanese/Chinese bootleg.

Calling this a figure based off a fan illustration is an insult.Yamashita Shun'ya is their go to guy for all of these figures. He's drawn comic book heroines, Street Fighter characters, and even genderswapped horror movie icons and every drawing has become a figure. This is just his style and personally I think it looks better than the source. It hasn't lost any essence, you're just not seeing it for what it is supposed to be.

The design is by Yamashita Shun'ya. he does the illustrations for all of the Bishojyo figures. He's done everything in the same style. This technically is based off of the source material since they have him draw the person then make the figure off his drawing. Complaining that it doesn't look like the same one from Street Fighter is pointless because that isn't what they were going for this time. It's from the Bishojyo line-- they all look like this.

previewed at WonFest Winter 2015 and decided I'd strongly consider
getting it when it was available for pre-order. The detail is amazing and
