Jingle bell, Jingle bell
I just noticed that its already December, and I also noticed that the people of this country seems to have started getting into the mood of this celebration they like to call Christmas already, I noticed that im getting close to 2X years old, and I noticed that this blog has been continuing for 9 months already.
How are you all spending this time of the month, everyone? Tomeko here, how are you all?

When you hear the word "Christmas", you would imagine it snowing outside, candles lit on the dinning table with wonderful meal, enjoying turkey, champagne and cake if you are lucky, with a sock hanging in the room, waiting for Santa to visit...an event full of dreams... or so it should be...

As of this moment, 12/4/09 17:00 o'clock, there is no sign what so ever of Mr. Santa visiting dear Tomeko. By the way, here at Hobby Search, Christmas means we all have to endure the packing of many orders, which I'm sure you all are waiting for, full of excitement. Every year. EVERY YEAR.
And as such, caught in vexation, I bought this product in hopes that it will fill this gap in my heart.

∞Tokoroten

It's from the same series as this popular item below:

Bubble packing... commonly known as bubble wrap...
That thing you find wrapped around your expensive orders to prevent damage...
Yup, this was a toy made to reproduce that sensation when you pop them! ...so the infinite bubble packing was a very interesting product, but unfortunately, we are currently out of stock. Sorry everyone.

Anyway, this product is from that infinite series, a toy designed to reproduce the sensation of pushing Tokoroten (a Japanese jelly desert) and enjoy it over and over.

The young people these days (and probably most of guys and girls too...), so let me just explain how it's made. Tokoroten is jelly in thin strips like noodles, and served with a sauce made of soy sauce and vinegar. It's nice and healthy, yup. It's made from agar, taken from boiled seaweed then dried outside to make a jelly form, and pressed through the tokoroten press to cut it in thin strips for completion.

Now, I wonder if this product actually feels like pressing a tokoroten through its press...
*Tears the packaging open along with the memories of the old days*

You can imagine its size from the photo there. It comes with ball chain, so it can be used as key straps too.

Right, lets give it a push! *squish*

...there was a slight pressure at the beginning that's similar...
It could resemble a similar sensation to pushing a tokoroten, I guess...
But fact that it doesn't come out smoothly bugs me alittle... may be I just unfortunate to get a bad one...

Anyway, pull back once it's fully out.
lol now this is a function which normal tokoroten press doesn't have.

Lets try again. *squish*
Hmmmm...... its kinda similar I guess. But its unsatisfying as its so short.

And pull back.
This withdrawal procedure is just indescribable.

...
......

(T n T;)

I slightly regret being sober right now.

If I was drinking with everyone and everything was a blur, I would soo be laughing my head off right now. BUT I'm at work, so it can't be helped. Ah well!

There are random faces drawn on the surface.
According to the manual, apparently they are named... daddy tokoro, mummy tokoro, brother tokoro, tokoro pup...... wtf is this a family??

Wait... does that means they were once together in one piece?
You could come up with a tragic story of a family being separated in this festive season.

Right, I still cant get over this vexing feeling, so you people can enjoy this infinite non-stop GIF animation!

These kind of products are usually referred to as party goods I guess.
The looks and function of it are nothing but than stupidity, but it could be great for a Christmas full of laughter in a weird way. Could be a great prize for a Bingo game or something, I'd say.

Anyway, that was it for today. Hope to see you next week!

By Tomeko, who gave herself a Tokoroten for her hard work.
