Product Description
[About the actual machine]
--The MD500 series is a helicopter manufactured by MD Helicopter, an American helicopter manufacturer developed from Hughes Helicopter.
――It was born as a development of Kai Youth, which was highly evaluated as a general-purpose helicopter.
--Equipped with more advanced fire control / navigation system.
――We are active in a wide range of missions such as reconnaissance and ground support not only in the United States but also around the world.
――It is a major feature that the on-board weapons are compatible with a wide range of weapons such as TOW missiles, 2.75 inch rockets, 30 mm, 7.62 mm chain guns, and 40 mm grenade launchers.
--The type equipped with TOW missiles is equipped with a TOW site on the left side of the nose to control the four TOW missiles mounted on the aircraft.
――The MD500 Defender, which has many variation types, is demonstrating its capabilities all over the world.
[About the model]
--The model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the MD-500 Defender on a 1/35 scale.
――The number of parts is reduced, and the ease of assembly is also attractive.
――The aircraft is divided into left and right to accurately represent the egg-shaped design that continues from Kaiyous.
--The four door panels on the left and right of the cockpit and cargo space are prepared as separate parts.
――The large canopy makes it easy to see the interior even after assembly, and the seats on the cockpit, instrument panels, floor panels, etc. are realistically reproduced. I'm looking forward to waving my arms carefully to finish it.
――In this model, TOW missile launchers are set on the left and right sides of the aircraft.
――The TOW site that can be attached to the nose is also modeled, and you can enjoy a unique finish.
――Of course, you can't miss the mechanical reproduction of the rotor blades and the center of the helicopter.
――Since it is 1/35 scale, I am looking forward to creating a slightly different scene by combining it with tanks, soft skins, figure sets, etc.
