Product Description

* EMD F7A/F7B Santa Fe
The F-Unit is probably the most recognized diesel locomotive in North American history. It was found on railroads from East to West and North to South. The EMD F7 was a 1500 hp multi-purpose locomotive, and in passenger service would be equipped with steam generators to power the trailing cars. The Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe railroad used F7 locomotives on its premier passenger trains, such as the `Super Chief` and the `El Capitan`, running them in groups of four in ABBA configuration to maximize speed and running efficiency.

- The number plate at the front of the unit lights up.
- The unit comes pre-equipped with a new vehicle number plate. Comes with exchangeable number plate #38C.
- Unit is DCC friendly.
