One word I hate polyston .period

while the cost is debatable since I've seen none anime cold cast statues a fraction of the price. The major benefit of cold cast is longer shelf life, the material is almost the same as pottery hence you won't have to worry too much about heat and humidity that would cause warping on PVC.

Cold cast statues also tend to appear duller color wise because the material absorbs light more than PVC, so you need more light to properly view the figure.

Cold cast is more brittle than PVC, but it can hold its shape better if the figure's center of gravity is off-center. Hence, much less likely to have the "leaning" problem. It's also harder to produce, thus contributing to cost.

It's expensive because its a cold cast or whatever; it's made differently, but because of that it is very fragile and delicate, despite not having particular quality over pvc's half the price by alter, etc. -- not worth it.

Very nice fig. But, why so expensive?

Beautiful figure! Almost everything about it is perfect! The sample pics you see on the site are probably of a prototype, the only possible flaw I saw was a little bit of the paint around her wristwatch. Her face, hair, clothes and pose are perfect, and just the right amount of sexy. A must have for Asuka Langley fans!
