Well because it's the original version of Zero. There is no Z saber. He was merely just like Megaman and Bass , a badass bot with a gun. Z Saber was an upgrade for X2

This image is Zero from X1 and is the version being made into this figure, thus the [1st Ver.] moniker. Trust me, if we know Bandai, will get around to further variations. I, for one, can't wait, as nothing has ever been made for X's 1 & 2 before. Seeing this Zero makes me very nostalgic...

well actually, this design was originally came out only at the 1st megaman x game and his design starting from x2 onwards was became quite different compare to this older one.

I see no Z Saber...this pisses me off.

I like the fact that his shoulderpads are still round; they're the old design from Megaman X-X3.
