- A new model of the N2000 series pre-production car 2424 has been created. While similar to the 2400 series production cars, the exterior retains the form of the 2000 series from the front, around the driver's cab, the end of the car on the coupling side, and the exhaust pipes.
- Reproduces the same equipment layout as the mass-produced 2400 series and the roof with short exhaust pipes similar to the 2000 series.
- While having the same silhouette as the 2000 series, it reproduces a three-dimensional skirt with many covers and hinges.
The headmark [Uzushio] is already attached. Replacement headmarks [Shimanto], [Uwakai], [Ashizuri], and [(plain)] are included.
Featuring a slotless motor, it achieves smooth and quiet running performance. The N2000 series 3-car set is not equipped with traction tires, considering coupled operation.
It features KATO's unique body tilting mechanism, which reproduces the inward tilt of the car body when passing through curves, just like the real train.
Headlights/taillights and headmark illuminate (with on/off switch). Uses warm white LEDs.
Each car uses a body-mounted close-coupling coupler without a hook. The front of the lead car is equipped with a dummy coupler (connecting skirt and coupler included).
