--The C12, which played an active role in pulling freight and passenger cars on local lines throughout Japan, is being reproduced. With a minimum passing radius of R150, it's also suitable for mini layouts!

[Product Introduction]
The C12 is the smallest tank-type locomotive among the domestically produced standard steam locomotives used on the main lines of the Japanese National Railways.
This steam locomotive, designed for light railway lines, had a low axle load and served as the basis for the tender-type C56. 282 units were manufactured starting in 1932.
Its small size made it a popular mascot for locomotive depots or a main attraction on local lines.

We will be re-releasing the C12, a small but stable-running motorcycle.
You can enjoy using it to pull a variety of vehicles, from old-style passenger cars to freight trains.

This product is a re-release.
*Starting with this product, we will be changing the colors of the rod components such as the main rod, crosshead, and combination link, as well as the leading wheels and trailing truck wheels, to more realistic colors.

[Product features]
This model recreates the appearance of steam locomotives around 1970, when they were nearing the end of their service.
The leading wheels, driving wheels, and trailing wheels feature detailed and realistic reproductions with missing spokes. The air pipes have printed copper pipe details. The running boards do not have white lines.
The headlights illuminate on the forward-facing side, both front and rear (no on/off switch). It features an LP42 battery, ATS generator, and reproduces the early type with sand pipes distributed to both the front and rear.
Minimum curve radius R150. A small tank-type steam locomotive suitable for operation on small layouts and in limited spaces.
Equipped with a coreless motor power unit, it enables stable running.
Capable of towing five 20m-class passenger cars on a standard gradient of 4%.
Selectable license plate numbers: [42][46][51][67] included
The locomotive can be coupled into multiple units by attaching a coupler for connecting the front end. Includes a replacement knuckle coupler for the tender and two double-heading couplers for the front end (one Arnold and one knuckle).
