--Serving nationwide as a passenger car exclusively for the Imperial Family! The [Imperial Train No. 1 formation], which incorporates the new No. 1 Imperial carriage built in 1960, is being reproduced.

[Product Introduction]
The Imperial Train No. 1, a five-car train centered around the new Imperial Carriage No. 1 built in 1960, ran throughout Japan for a long time as a passenger train exclusively for the Imperial Family.
The imperial carriage, built to resemble a lightweight passenger car, features the emperor's chambers in the center, with waiting rooms, dressing rooms, and rest rooms at the front and rear, and the imperial chrysanthemum crest is affixed to the exterior of the emperor's chambers.
The passenger cars attached to the front and rear of the Imperial carriage (known as "gubusha") are semi-steel, three-axle bogie passenger cars manufactured in 1931. Their equipment and interiors were modernized at the same time as the construction of the new Imperial carriage No. 1.

We will be re-releasing the [Imperial Train No. 1 Formation] (Showa era specifications), which is centered around the new No. 1 Imperial carriage, characterized by its deep, glossy dark red body, the Imperial Chrysanthemum emblem, and gold decorations in various places.
This product can be enjoyed together with various other locomotive products that have pulled imperial trains, such as the "2021-2 C11 190 Imperial Train Locomotive," which is scheduled to be released at the same time, and the popular "3038 EF58 61," which is currently on sale.

[Product features]
This product recreates the five-car "Imperial Train No. 1" formation, centered around the new No. 1 Imperial carriage built in 1960.
In 1999, the TR73 bogies of escort cars 460 and 461 were modified to resemble their Showa-era specifications before the axle modifications.
The fabric-covered roof sections are reproduced in dark gray (excluding the power room section of the escort carriage No. 460 and the imperial carriage).
Imperial carriage No. 1 beautifully showcases a deep, lustrous body color and gold accents.
The escort car No. 460 features detailed representations of the roof shape and underfloor equipment.
Carriages 330 and 340 feature intricately shaped rooftop antennas.
The taillights of escort vehicles 460 and 461 are illuminated.
The garland-shaped ventilators on the roof are reproduced as separate parts.
Each car is equipped with KATO Coupler N JP as standard for the intermediate coupling sections. The locomotive-side couplers on escort cars 460 and 461 are equipped with Arnold couplers as standard. Dummy couplers with end beams are included.
Features a book-style case that can store 5 passenger cars and 1 locomotive.
