[Vehicle Guide]
The Hoki 800 series was an improved version of the Hoki 700 series, with the addition of a ballast spreading function between the rails, and played an active role in ballast transport and spreading throughout Japan.
Currently, these vehicles are being replaced by maintenance motor cars and service vehicles.

[Product Features]
- Reproduces the early model equipped with TR41 bogies.
- Ballast parts are included, allowing you to choose between a fully ballasted or empty state.
The car numbers come with pre-printed plates [Hoki 1522, 1523] and blank plates, and other car numbers can be selected using transfer sheets.
- The home station is pre-printed as [Onogami Station], but can be changed to [Utsunomiya Freight Terminal Station, Etchujima Freight Station, or Hatsukari Station] using the included transfer sheet.
- The affiliation marking is pre-printed as [Taka], and can be changed to [Higashioku, Hachitota, Chibamari, Shinnaka] using the included transfer sheet.
- The handle is represented by a separate part.
