Kotobukiya outdid itself by adapting the original Jehuty to a scale model. No small feat. See my Vic Viper review too. Both kits are comparable to Gunpla Master Grade. I think the overcomplicated assembly meant to hide seam lines & skip painting. No putty used. I airbrushed, flowed thinned light blue & black through the panel lines, lightly weathered with Tamiya & applied a semi gloss. A work of art.

You have to paint the blue streaks yourself.
I've used Gundam Glitter Pearl Marker Set #GM88G Light Blue.
Photo of my Jehuty after assembly/painting. It's my first model kit so give me a break.

i'm confused! i've seen a version that lacks some of the details shown in the pictures hosted here. check the picture i attached, for instance, the wings and hands are missing their original colors actually the colors of the whole model looks blunt and lighter. overall, the end product is whole lot different then the outstanding promotion pictures! we need confirmation fo what to make out of this please. thanks,

The articulation looks pretty nice now that they've released the manual. I might get this, but I dunno what I'll do about that blue...

2:I3ubble  2011/09/26 15:45:50

That was only a warning. We're going to have to see if Kotobukiya decides to panel line the blues for you, and if the guy didn't pose him to its full articulation.

We'll see.

I sense a flaw in this already...
Although the proportion is extremely nice (compared to the Revoltech one), it lacks articulation. Revoltech provides extreme and amazing articulation that makes it much more interesting. It also costs 20 to 30 bucks less.
Also, it seems like the blue streaks on Jehuty will have to be inked on (self panel line).
To those who won't be panel lining, this is not a good model. It's going to look extremely bland if you don't add those blues.
