- Unlike the Kongo-class, this ship is the first Aegis ship to be able to carry a helicopter SH-60K.
- The mast has undergone a major transformation, such as changing from the lattice mast that was common on escort ships to a flat mast, and the main gun is a Mk45Mod4 62 caliber 5 inch gun.
-The kit uses a completely new mold to reproduce all of these features.
- The hatch of the VLS vertical launcher opens partially, and you can reproduce the launch scene by combining with the attached missile parts (standard, harpoon).
