Product Description
――The Kiha 200 was introduced to non-electrified routes throughout Kyushu as a large diesel railcar for local routes in JR Kyushu. The innovative style that renewed the image of the old diesel railcar was a hot topic at that time, and it was nicknamed [Red Rapid] because of its appearance.
――In 1992, we received the Laurel Prize. The 0th and 1000th generations of the one-sided cab were deployed in the Nōgata railcar ward in 1991, and were introduced to the rapid trains on the Chikuhou and Sasaguri lines. , We are expanding the field of activity in various parts of Kyushu.
――Since its appearance, it has been active on the Sasaguri Line and Chikuhou Main Line, but now it has been transferred to Oita, Kagoshima, and Nagasaki districts due to the electrification of the Chikuhou Main Line between Orio Station and Keisen Station and the entire Sasaguri Line.
