- In line with the debut of the real car, KATO will also release products at the same time.
- Seibu 40000 series is a new commuter type train which starts operation from the spring of 2017 (2017). It is characterized by bright coloring which imagined landscape and nature.
- The formation of this year's completion is Seibu Railway's first long cross-seat conversion car with a toilet on car No. 4, and it will be used for a train of seat assignment system.
- It is planned to be used for a direct train to the subway line to enter another company line.

- Please run along with the successive Seibu Railroad, please enjoy it together with the vehicle of the destination such as the Tokyo Metro 10000 series and the Tokyu 5050 series 4000 series.

[Product features]
- A prototype long-cross seat conversion vehicle that is also used to operate a direct train of the subway.
- A gentle curved frontal part and a clean aluminum body shape, faithfully reproducing a colorful coloring. The driver's cab has become see-through and pursues the likelihood of actual vehicle.
- The seat of long cross change is in the form of a cross seat, the (1) - (9) cars are oriented to Hanno, and the (10) car is oriented toward Ikebukuro. It also reproduces the partner zone.
- Destination indication of 10 sets of special projected items is plain and comes with a destination display sticker. Destination display of basic set and extension set is printed.
- Head / taillight, front display lit. Set with white LED.
- The GM - 3 motor realizes stable running, and the coupler is equipped with KATO Coupler Continuous Shape # 2 New Performance Train Equipment. DCC compatible.
