- The 35 series 4000 series which appeared in Heisei 29 (2017) started driving in the form replacing SL [Yamaguchi] of the 12 series passenger car that was active until then.
- Although it is a newly made vehicle that incorporates the latest technology, its appearance is the old-type passenger car itself that was active in the heyday of the steam locomotive itself, as a very unique vehicle combining a retro look and a comfortable interior I am drawing attention.

- We will release a special project in which the towing machine D51 200 and 35 series 4000 series passenger came together in August, followed by a set of only D51 200 and 35 series 4000 series passenger cars in September .
- Special projected items will be released on sleeves treated with SL (Yamaguchi) design.

- Reproduce the Yellowoy door of the side window that is in constant use as a separate part (cars 2 and 3).
- Reproduce interior decoration of regular cars and green cars reminiscent of old-fashioned passenger cars. Also, the event space in No. 3 car is accurately reproduced.
- Expression of a small overhang of the body tail, which is seen in the truck section.
- Not only the body of the grape No. 2 but also the small marks of the No. 1 car and the marks such as the Ismark mark of No. 5 car have been printed.
- Adopt body-mount type tight self-contained coupler for intermediate connection part. Locomotive connection side is equipped with body mounted Arnold coupler as standard. Replacement knuckle coupler included.
- The truck adopts a snap-on dolly.
- DCC friendly correspondence.
- Special projected items are prepared with a sleeve that was designed with the SL [Yamaguchi] issue.
- Selected type license plate (black background / red ground) for D51 200, heavy consecutive knuckle coupler, heavy-duty coupler, replacement knuckle coupler, head mark are attached to special projected items. (Same as accessories of 2016-8 D51 200)
- Both sets can store 5 passenger cars and 2 locomotives in the book case.
