Product Description

── A set of Kiha 40 diesel cars active in Hokkaido has appeared!

[Real car guide]
-Appeared in 1995 as the successor to the Kiha 53-500 at the end section of the Sennuma Line
-Based on the one-man modified Kiha 40-700, modified to 450 horsepower engine and 2-axis drive, the appearance is different from other JR Hokkaido colors, the entrance door is green
-It is operated mainly at Shintotsugawa and Ishikari Tobetsu on the last section of the Sennuma Line. Between Hokkaido Medical University and Shintotsugawa is scheduled to be abolished in May 2020.
-Kiha 40-400 is a general diesel car that appeared in 1996.
-Based on Kiha 40-100 model of Kiha 40-100 model for severe cold regions, based on Kiha 40-700 model, with 220 horsepower, and 1-axis drive to 2-axis drive, we are aiming to enhance snow discharge operation during single driving The
-Two cars have appeared, and are mainly used between Ishikari Tobetsu and Shintotsugawa, which are the end sections of the JR Hokkaido Sennuma Line, and are effective in winter driving.
