-A marine vessel used for fleet escorts and anti-submarine patrols in the Japanese Navy, and the Nisshinbo type is a type of ship that has been operated from the middle of the war, and its hull has been greatly simplified.
-Although it was a large-scale building-oriented type, it could not keep up with the voice of the front asking for an increase in the number of escort vessels as the station shifted, and the same type of construction was temporarily discontinued with eight vessels. As it was, an attempt was made to simplify the hull and armor completely, and the three-dimensional curved surface of the hull was eliminated as much as possible, and most parts were composed of a combination of planes, achieving high mass production effects.
