-The JR 201 series is a vehicle that appeared in 1979 as Japan's first energy saving vehicle equipped with chopper control and regenerative braking, and was operated in the Keihanshin area in JR West Japan jurisdiction.
-Since 2003, these registered vehicles have undergone major renewals for the purpose of life extension work, and a group called improved vehicles has emerged.
-Currently active on the Yamato Line, Sakurai Line, Wakayama Line and the Osaka East Line, which opened its entire line in March this year.
-Along with the whole line opening of the Osaka East Line, the organization that wrapped the design selected from the general public offering was operated as a collaboration project to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Yao city system enforcement.

-Type and destination display (front and side: 3 color LED specification), operation number, door sticker, priority seat, weakly cold car is included in the attached sticker (newly produced)
-Train radio antenna, signal flame tube, lightning arrester are user installed
-Headlights (bulb color), tail lights (red) are on
-Stable running achieved by using a coreless motor power unit with a flywheel
