[Vehicle introduction]
-In order to replace the 153 series used in 1982 for high-speed trains in the Shimonoseki area, the 115 series 3000 series appeared.
-Attracted attention as a model case of service improvement by shortening and increasing the number of trains, and was nicknamed Hiroshima City Train.
-The 3000 series of the 115 series has the front structure and main equipment conforming to the 115 series, and the cabin structure has a common feature with the 2-door convertible cross seat (long seat only at the car end) and the 117 series.
-[30N constitution improvement work] that can be used for 30 years after new construction has been performed since 2004.
-Some changes have been made to the exterior, such as replacing the front window glass, removing the roof ventilator, and replacing the wife's through door.
-The color has been changed to [dark yellow] since 2010, and in recent years, some vehicles have been replaced with new rooftop coolers.
