-In 2011, the original color of diagonal stripes was revived as a revival painting. Currently all 185 series have this paint. The reinforced skirt and seat color are different from those of the JNR era.
-The 185 series departing and arriving at Tokyo Station (some Shinjuku Station) is a combination of 10 stations, 7 stations, and 5 stations, and trains for 15, 12, 10, and 7 vehicles.
-In principle, the independent operation of a 5-car train is only west of Atami.
* For a period of time, it may have been used on regular trains between Hiratsuka and Atami for a while.
