-[Hatakaze] type is a JMSDF 3rd generation missile escort ship, and the first ship [Hatakaze] was commissioned on March 27, 1986.
-Compared with the previous class "Tachikaze" type, the engine became the first missile escort ship to propel the gas turbine, and the mounting position of the standard missile launcher was changed from the conventional rear part to the front part to respond to aviation threat from the front .
