-The Kintetsu 16000 series appeared in 1965 as a limited express vehicle for the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line and Yoshino Line.
-There were 8 2-car fixed formations and 1 4-car fixed formations, but the formations that appeared early with the expansion of the successor 16400 series ACE and 16600 series Ace are already retired.
-The 16007 and 16009 trains are characterized by the fact that the smoking room installation work was carried out from 2015 to 2016, and the side window layout has changed.
-Since September 2016, the Kintetsu Limited Express has been repainted with new standard colors.
