── Display model with two types of front parts that can be selected

――The 600 type, which appeared in 1984, is a newly built air-conditioned car to improve the service of Otsu line cars.
――It was used on the Keihan line when it first appeared, but since 1997 it has been in operation on the Ishiyama Sakamoto line.
――In terms of performance, a compound winding motor is used to enable regenerative braking with field phase control, constant speed control is used to meet harsh track conditions, and an emergency dynamic brake is also provided.
――In addition, since 1993, we have carried out boosting modification work and made it the same performance as the 700 type including the brake device.
――Since 2017, it has been gradually repainted with new paint and is scheduled to be completed by March 2021.
