-The primary type is equipped with electric heating for dual use as passenger coins. The prototype and the primary type were put into operation between Fukushima and Yamagata (at that time DC electrification), and subsequent mass production machines were mainly put into the Chuo Main Line and Shinonoi Line and played an active role.
-It is also recommended as a traction machine for the 10-1623/1624 Series 43 Night Express [Kiso], which will be released at the same time. Of course you can enjoy it as a towing machine for freight trains.
