── Kiha 40/47 Series Hime Shinsen

[Kiha 47-0 actual vehicle guide]
-The Kiha 47-0 type is a general diesel car for warm regions with a one-sided cab that appeared in 1977.
-The car body is based on the Kiha 45 type that appeared earlier, but adopts a high cab for the purpose of accident countermeasures and improved visibility.
-The Kiha 47-0 type and the Kiha 47-1000 type, which omits the toilet, were manufactured in total of more than 300 cars mainly for the West Japan area, making it the largest group in the Kiha 40 series.
-The same shape placed for the Kishin Line was characterized by a cream color on the lower part of the car body and an orange color on the upper part of the car body.

[Actual vehicle guide]
-The KIHA 40 series 2000s and KIHA 47 series 0/1000s are mainly designed for warm regions in western Japan.
-The Kiha 47 series No. 0 is equipped with a toilet and a water tank is installed on the roof, and the Kiha 47 series No. 1000 is characterized by a clean roof without a toilet.
-The vehicles that were active on the Hime Shinsen had a two-tone color of orange on the top and cream on the bottom
