--The T52 is an anti-aircraft self-propelled gun developed in 1942 based on the M4 Sherman tank.
-The armament was equipped with one Bofors 40mm in the center of the turret and one 50 caliber browning on each side of the turret.
--Two people were on board inside the barrel turret, with the Bofors gunner on the right and the loader on the left, and each crew reloaded the Browning ammunition on the side on which they were sitting.
--During the 1943 test run, crew overwork (excessive effort required for loading and aiming with two turret members) and turret failure (fallen Browning cartridge case caught in the turret swivel) This makes it impossible to turn the turret. Although it is a power turn, it cannot follow low-altitude aircraft.) Also, only 64 Boforce ammunition can enter the in-car cartridge case, and it runs out in less than 1 minute with normal firing.
