[Actual vehicle guide]
--The 485-1000 series was introduced in 1976 with an enhanced cold and snow resistant structure.
――The limited express [Tsubasa] on the Ou Line, which uses the same system, was initially a 12-car train with dining cars connected, but from the mid-1980s it was shortened to a 9-car train including the Salo 481 and a mono-class 6-car train, 1992.
