-The prototype locomotives that JNR borrowed from various manufacturers for the development of diesel locomotives were different from the later standard design machines, and various forms and colors were prepared for each company.
- DD90 1 is a prototype locomotive manufactured by Toshiba in 1954. It was originally called DD41 because of its unique shape with a tall bonnet and a cab on one side.
- I was engaged in replacement work at the Omiya engine depot, but there was a problem with maintainability, and it was scrapped in 1971.
- The model is equipped with an ultra-compact motor installed vertically, and has a structure that does not spoil the appearance.
- For the upper part, the bonnet end is made of lost wax, and the body part is made of brass and nickel silver.
- In addition, please use 320R or more when passing through curves due to the unique bonnet configuration.
