── 6158 trains on the Ikebukuro Line, equipped with a PT44 pantograph, for an affordable set configuration.

- The Seibu 6000 series is a vehicle for mutual direct operation between the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, which appeared in 1992.
- Employing Seibu Railway's only stainless steel body, it appeared as the first 10-car fixed formation vehicle.
- It features a style not seen in Seibu trains up to that point, such as the installation of an emergency through-passage for subways on the curved head shape.
- From 1996 onwards, 6151 trains have aluminum body structures, and from 1997 onwards, 6156 trains to 6158 trains have no door pocket windows.
-From 2014, the running equipment has been updated, and by 2019, it has been applied to all trains.
