Product Description

──Kiha 75 type that has been remodeled to cold and snow resistant specifications that are active on the Takayama Main Line and Taita Line

- JR Kiha 75 type is a vehicle manufactured from 1993 (Heisei 5) as a replacement for Kiha 58 / 65 type diesel car.
- Equipped with two Cummins 350 horsepower engines per car, it can run at a maximum speed of 120 km/h, and has the same performance as the limited express Kiha 85 series.
- It was used on the rapid train [Mie] between Nagoya and Toba and on the Taketoyo line, but due to the electrification of the Taketoyo line, some vehicles were transferred to the Mino-Ota vehicle depot with cold resistance measures and one-man operation, and the Takayama main line・I am active on the Taita Line.
- All cars for the Takayama Main Line and Taita Line are based on secondary cars, of which the 200/300 series, which was for the rapid [Mie], has been subjected to cold resistance measures, the 1200/1300 series, and the one-man version. The 3200/3300 series and the 400/500 series, which was a car for one-man operation on the Taketoyo Line, are classified into the 3400/3500 series with cold resistance measures.

- Vehicle number, JR mark, ATS notation, end notation, affiliation / capacity notation are printed
-Front/side destination display, car number display, priority seat, and wheelchair mark are affixed from the attached sticker (new production)
- User-installed phone antenna, phone antenna pedestal, front through hood
- Pre-installed train radio antenna and ventilator
- The signal flame tube, duct, and muffler are integrally sculpted.
- Headlights (light bulb color) and taillights (red) light up
- The light of the leading car entering the middle is not lit (No.31747 / 31748)
- Equipped with coreless motor power unit with flywheel
