──The lapis lazuli color with the cooler cover replaced and the JNR limited express color that is active mainly on special trains. JNR limited express colors produce new stickers

- E653 series appeared as a limited express [Fresh Hitachi] on the Joban Line from October 1997 (Heisei 9).
-After that, from March 2013 (Heisei 25), this [Fresh Hitachi] was replaced with the E657 series, and it was converted to cold and snow resistant specifications and converted to the 1000 series and diverted to the Niigata area, Uetsu Main Line Limited Express. It is operated as [Inaho].
- Of these, one train (7-car train) was changed to a paint color image reminiscent of the 485 series that was active as a limited express [Hitachi] in the past, and then returned to the Katsuta Vehicle Center in the [Fresh Hitachi] era. is operated as
