[About the actual machine]
- The Tornado is a multi-purpose attack aircraft that was jointly developed by the United Kingdom, West Germany, and Italy.
- First flight in 1974, deployment and operation began in 1979.
- The attack aircraft type IDS, whose main mission is low-altitude precision attacks, and the air defense fighter type ADV, which is derived from that aircraft, were developed and have been deployed in combat in various countries since the 1980s.
- The main wing uses variable wings, and the engine is equipped with two Turbo Union RB199-34R Mk103.
- Demonstrated high short-range takeoff performance.
- There are two people on board: the pilot in the front seat and the navigator in the back seat.
