─ ─ Reproduction of the last Blue Train [Sea of Japan] in western Japan, which connected Osaka and Aomori on the Sea of Japan Longitudinal Line!

[Product introduction]
- We will be reproducing the EF81, which was dispatched from Tsuruga, which was used to pull passenger trains between Hokuriku and Aomori on the Sea of Japan side.
- EF81 is an AC/DC electric locomotive that is representative of Japanese National Railways and was born in 1968, and even after the transition to JR, it continues to be used as a versatile locomotive for everything from passengers to freight.
- EF81, which belonged to the Tsuruga driving dispatch, was responsible for towing passenger trains such as the sleeper express [Sea of Japan] that connected the Sea of Japan side between Osaka and Aomori.
- This vehicle is ideal for towing the 24-series sleeper express [Nihonkai], which is scheduled to be re-produced at the same time.
- In addition, you can enjoy reenactments of various passenger trains that ran on the Japan Sea Jukan Line, including the one pulling the [Twilight Express].
- This product uses a slotless motor, and the product number, price, and JAN code will change accordingly.
- There are no changes to other specifications from the previous product.

[Product features]
- Belongs to JR West Fukui Regional Railway Department, Tsuruga Driving Detachment, commercialized the form as a prototype in 2011
- Accurately reproduces Red No. 13's body paint, commonly known as rose pink, and the JR logo on various parts of the car.
- Front handrail and opening lever are attached as separate parts
- Adopts PS22 pantograph, realistically reproduced with insulators and rooftop wiring (metal) unique to AC/DC machines
- H rubber is reproduced in black
