- Tora 45000 is a small 2-axle open freight car manufactured by Japan National Railways from 1960.
- More than 8,100 vehicles were manufactured, promoting the weeding out of the two-axle open vehicles from before the war.
- Although the car body was made of steel, the side sliding doors were made of wood, and it was used all over the country.

- Tora 45000 comes with a seat cover to cover the cargo.
- New car numbers have been set to 45270 and 47061. Seat cover parts are removable. Creates a realistic look to freight trains.
- Equipped with a suspension mechanism even though it is a freight car. Although it is a compact two-axle freight car, it boasts outstanding running stability.
- The coupler is equipped with Arnold coupler as standard. Use optional #11-702 KATO coupler N for replacement.
