[Product introduction]
- We will be producing the E217 series, which was in operation on the Tokaido Line in Shonan colors.
- The E217 series was originally introduced as a train for the Yokosuka Line and the Sobu Rapid Line, but three sets were repurposed in 2006 to replace the 113 series on the Tokaido Line.
- Because the configuration of the Yokosuka-Sobu Rapid Line and the Tokaido Line is different, the 11+4 car configuration was changed to 10+5 cars, and after modifications to the couplers etc. were made, the trains began operation.
- After undergoing equipment upgrades from 2008 to 2012, the train continued to operate until 2015, when it returned to its original Yokosuka Line and Sobu Rapid Line operation.
- The product is a set that allows you to enjoy the complete 15-car formation.
- The underfloor will have the original skirt shape from before the equipment was updated, and the destination display stickers will include a headmark that marks "120th anniversary of the opening of the Yokohama-Kozu section" and a headmark that marks "120th anniversary of complete operation of the Shinbashi-Kobe section."
- The Tokaido Line lineup will be expanded, with trains including the 211 series, E231 series, and E233 series.

[Product Features]
- F-03 and F-53 trains from Kozu Vehicle Center are now available
- Reproduces the original shape of the underfloor and skirt before the equipment was updated
- Reproduce the Shonan color stripe that gives a new impression to the actual car
- Expresses the exterior finish of different materials such as the painted steel body of the front car and the stainless steel parts of the car body.
- The number of cars in the composition, the coupling position of the semi-cross seat cars, and the coupling direction of the additional formation are reproduced.
- Standard car seats are colored ivory
- The head/tail lights, front direction sign, and train number display are lit on all cars except for the leading car No. 11 (Kuha E216-1003). The leading car No. 10 (Kuha E217-3) has a switch to turn the lights off.
- The intermediate coupling section is equipped with a body-mounted KATO close-coupled coupler (with hook) as standard. At the front, cars 1 and 15 use a dummy coupler with electric coupling, while cars 10 and 11 use a close-coupled coupler without a hook. Electric coupler (1 stage) included
- The use of a slotless motor provides smooth and quiet running. The powered car (No. 13: Moha E217-2006) of the additional train does not have traction tires.
- Destination display stickers included. The headmark [120th anniversary of the opening of the Yokohama-Kozu section] and the headmark [120th anniversary of the complete service between Shinbashi and Kobe] are included on the destination display stickers (with a pedestal part for the complete service 120th anniversary)
