Product Description

-- A tatami-mat passenger car remodeled from an old passenger car

- The SLO81 and SLOF81 types were cars that were converted from the SLO62 and SLOF62 types into tatami-style passenger cars (Japanese-style) between 1972 and 1980.
- It was operated in a six-car configuration and ran on both electrified and non-electrified sections.
- The trains stationed at Shinagawa Passenger Car Depot were given the nickname "Sina-za" after the abbreviation, and the trains stationed at Mito Passenger Car Depot were given the nickname "Fureai," but were also called "Mito-za."
