[Product introduction]
- The ED76 0 series is an AC electric locomotive of Japanese National Railways that was launched in 1965. Based on the famous ED75 AC locomotive, the car body length was extended to accommodate a steam generator (commonly known as SG) for heating passenger cars, and a non-powered intermediate bogie was added to accommodate the increased car body weight caused by the SG's water and fuel loading. Despite being a D-type, it has a large car body comparable to that of an F-type locomotive.
- By adjusting the air spring pressure in the middle bogie, it is possible to enter sections with lower track standards.
- 94 units of the 0 series were dedicated to Kyushu, and as electrification was extended, they were used throughout Kyushu, pulling freight trains, ordinary passenger trains, and even the Blue Train.
- It is also recommended for towing the <10-1915 Passenger Car Set Express [Kaimon/Nichinan]> scheduled for release at the same time, and for towing 12-series express passenger cars.

[Product Features]
- The Sanbe, Kaimon, and Nichinan express trains were overnight express trains that operated in Kyushu and Sanin in the 1970s.
- The Sanbe line ran from Hakata through the industrial areas of Kitakyushu to Yonago, the Kaimon line ran from Mojiko to Nishi-Kagoshima (now Kagoshima-Chuo) via the Kagoshima Main Line, and the Nichinan line ran the same distance via the Nippo Main Line.
- The trains were characterised by a composition of 20-series sleeping cars, 12-series express passenger cars, and mail and baggage cars. The 20-series sleeping cars were modified to be able to be coupled with the 12-series cars, which had a different power supply system, and were designated 1000 and 2000 series.
- You can create a complete train by combining this product with the various 10-1550, 5302, and 5304 12-series express passenger cars, which are scheduled for simultaneous resale.
