Product Description

- New parts are included for the Unryu-class No. 1 ship, Unryu, which was planned to strengthen the aircraft carrier force before the outbreak of the Pacific War!

- The product is based on the ship's appearance when it was completed in August 1944, and its final appearance after a rocket launcher was added, and you can choose/create either appearance.
- Unlike Amagi and Katsuragi, there is no sign of a simplified construction shape, and the ship retains its traditional rounded sponson shape.
- Newly designed parts are available to standardize the differences in the reproduction of equipment, etc. depending on the product release date, and some parts are divided to take painting into consideration.
- The No. 13 radar is a newly included part that has a truss structure with carved expression and the antenna part also has a shaped expression.
- The No. 21 Type 6 radar for the bridge and the insulator base for fixing the elements on the front side are depicted with more delicate engraving than previous accessory parts.
- The 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun A1 Kai 1 is divided into 6 parts, with improved modeling resolution compared to the existing 2-part model.
The 9-metre cutter is made into two parts to allow for painting, and the stand is available as a separate part, or you can choose to have it molded as a single piece with the deck.
・The canvas, wheelhouse and engine room canopy of the 12m motorboat are made into separate parts for painting purposes. Each part is painted first, and then assembled and glued later.
- Made of three parts, the boat body and the loading area floor are separate parts and can be assembled after painting, eliminating the need for masking.
-The 12-meter internally fired launch can now be depicted in its shape without the canvas.
- The shipboard stand has been molded to express the uneven shape and light holes, giving it a more precise appearance.

The Type 96 25mm triple machine gun/single machine gun are standardly designed as two-part components which reduces the amount of painting/painting work required.
- Includes six of each of four models (Zero Fighter Type 52, Type 21 (with bombs), Comet Carrier Bomber Type 12, and Tenshan Carrier Attack Plane).
- Six special attack aircraft, the Ohka, are included.

・The ship's hull is divided into left and right halves.
- The portholes lined up on the sides of the ship are recreated as they were, reduced in number based on lessons learned from war.
- The anchor chain deck at the bow is a single component with anti-slip strip patterns, bollards, hawsers and a three-dimensionally carved anchor chain.

- The flight deck is made up of one component, with the elevator being a separate part.
- The surface is carved with a variety of shapes, including aircraft locking eyelets, landing brake cables, and expansion joints.
- The windbreak fence is reproduced by carving on the flight deck.
- The concealed type 21 radar and two concealed searchlights on the flight deck can be displayed in either stowed or deployed state.
- The elevator can be assembled either in the raised position or lowered into the hangar.
- The truss structure on the underside of the bow and stern of the flight deck is expressed as a three-dimensional sculpture.
- The cranes on the flight deck are in stowed position.

-The bridge base is a one-piece molded part made using a slide mold.
The chimney is divided into upper and lower parts, and the internal conductive plate is detailed as a separate part.
- The funnel cap is precisely sculpted in its "removed" state.
- The bridge (air defense command center) includes binocular telescope parts for added precision.

- The anti-aircraft gun mounts and machine gun turrets on the sides of the ship are made into separate parts, and the strip pattern on the floor is expressed with intricate carvings.
- Machine gun mounts and anti-aircraft gun sponson supports are reproduced with precise molded parts.

- Various types of shipside equipment, such as radio antenna supports and landing lights, are available as separate parts.
The triple 25mm machine gun is precisely sculpted and comes in two parts that are easy to paint, and the 2018 molded parts are included as standard.

- Four types of aircraft are included, for a total of 22 aircraft.
-The aircraft types were four types owned by the 6th to 1st Air Group, which existed as a carrier-based unit after completion: [Zero Fighter Type 52], [Zero Fighter Type 21 Bomb-Loaded], [Suisei], and [Tenzan].
-Four A6M Zero Type 52 carrier-based fighter planes are included, with the windshield and propellers made into separate parts to take painting into consideration.
- Four A6M Zero Type 21 (bomb-loaded) carrier-based fighter planes are included, with the drop tanks on both wings and the 250 kg bomb under the fuselage reproduced as separate parts.
- The windshield, propeller, and 60 kg bomb of the Comet Type 12 carrier bomber are made into separate parts, making it easy to paint them differently.
-Four Tenzan carrier attack aircraft are included, with their characteristic four-bladed propellers and the 250 kg bomb suspended under the fuselage depicted as separate parts.
- Six "Special Attack Aircraft Ohka" that were loaded into the hangar during the transport operation at the time of the sinking are included.

The molding color of the main parts is light green, taking into consideration the color that will come out when painted with anti-submarine camouflage.
- Carrier-based aircraft, machine gun parts, etc. are gray in color.

- Includes one decal sheet for the camouflage pattern of the flight deck and markings of the carrier-based aircraft.
- One decal is included for the ship name at the stern and the white lines on the pillars.
