Product Description

The second edition of the pre-painted style, Zuiho, features the complex camouflage pattern on the flight deck.

-This is a kit that is assembled using molded parts with adhesive.
-Painting is required except for the flight deck which is pre-painted.

[Product Features]
・The motif is the scene in October 1944 (Operation Sho Ichi-go).
The flight deck on the bow side has been extended and the mast is equipped with a No. 13 radar to recreate the ship's final appearance.

[Hull]
-The ship's hull is divided into left and right parts.
-The bottom of the ship and the hull are separated at the waterline, with the left and right bottom being one piece.
- The exterior electrical wiring is expressed with delicate carvings all around.
- The aisles and pillars at the rear of the hangar (upper deck/top deck), as well as the cab stern and auxiliary anchor at the stern are made into separate parts.
- Three-dimensional carvings are applied to even the finest details, including the undersides of the sponsons on the sides and the reinforcing ribs.
- The bridge deck and rear short boat deck have linoleum flooring.

[Flight Deck]
-Unlike the regular version, the camouflage paint, which is difficult to apply, is pre-painted.
-The flight deck is designed to be divided into two parts, the front and rear of the extension, and is connected by an unnoticeable expansion joint.
- The elevator can be set to either the up or down position, and the wind barrier is a separate part, giving it a realistic shape.
- Expansion joints, wooden decks, split patterns, etc. are expressed with delicate carvings.

[Outfitting]
- Most of the side sponsons are separate parts to ensure accurate reproduction of the shape.
-The chimney consists of two pieces, top and bottom, and the lattice structure of the exhaust port is also a separate part, allowing for a sense of depth to be reproduced.
- The auxiliary chimney is reproduced in the raised position as a single part, including the base.
- The radio antenna support has a separate base and support, and can be positioned upright or down.
- The machine gun mounts at the stern and bow, and the rocket launcher are reproduced with special parts.

-The scale is 1/700 and it has a full hull including the bottom of the ship.
- Parts require assembly using adhesive and painting.
- Only the camouflage-painted flight deck is pre-painted and no painting is required.

[Aircraft Carrier]
- Two types of aircraft are included.
- Includes Zero Fighter Type 52 and Tenzan, two of each.

-Masking sheets are included to assist with camouflage painting of the ship's sides.
- Cut along the printed camouflage pattern outline and use for masking work.

・The molding color of the main parts is bright green (outer ship No. 22 color) to take painting into consideration.
