Product Description
[STUDY1942 Series]
Little Armory, the 1/12 scale modern firearms plastic model series familiar to many for its packaging of girls in uniform and guns, is releasing the [STUDY1942] series, which recreates a variety of firearms that were developed up until the Second World War and became the foundation of modern firearms.
A submachine gun using 8mm Nambu ammunition developed in Japan during World War II, the Type 1-10 Submachine Gun. With a wooden stock and side-loading magazine, it has a layout similar to the ancestor of submachine guns, the Bergmann MP18, but it also incorporates unique Japanese design elements such as a slim body, unique muzzle device, and bayonet attachment.
The ammunition used, the 8mm Nambu bullet, had better recoil control than the 9mm Parabellum and .45ACP bullets commonly used in other countries, and had the advantage of being more accurate at close range.
Little Armory has recreated this Type 1-1 submachine gun (late model) in 1/12 scale. You can choose to have the bolt open or closed, and you can also choose to have the Type 2 bayonet attached. You can also attach the Type 30 bayonet that comes with the Type 38 rifle (sold separately).
